I just have three questions:
1. Can I remove the “Blog Grid” title from the top of the template, just below the slider?
2. Is it possible to automate the infinite scroll so a user does not have to click the “More Post” button?
3. Can the infinite scroll be configured so that each new load of content will record as a page: /page-2, /page-3, etc?
sorry i moved your questions to a new thread so its searchable.
for your questions.
1. you can’t remove it, but you can change it by changing the title of your page.
2&3. we don’t have infinite scroll in blog because we choose pagination instead.
hope that helps.
That sincerely helps, thanks!
I do have a follow up question though about # 3.
It is currently set up with the blog grid, and at the bottom there’s the “More Post” button. I click it, and it loads a new set of pages, no problem. But is there a way to ensure that it counts the new pages that load? In my Google Analytics I only see one page view for hitting the index, but not for loading the new content on the “next” pages.
There should be a way for the pagination to count #/page/3, #/page/4, #/page/5, … ?
here’s my link: http://lordashbury.com
yes, because its actually only a page, you will need to choose between pagination count or infinite scroll. for blog grid you can remove the read more button but it will take a while before user see your footer.
So … just to make sure I have this correct … If I have infinite scroll for my blog grid, if I simply remove the “More Post” button it will automatically reload AND count the subsequent pages?? (I don’t care about my footer!!!)
How do I go about doing this?
